COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION
OUR NINJA MAMA SPEAKING IN COMMUNITIES
At Fight Like a Ninja, community outreach is a powerful way we turn compassion into action. Through mental health education and honest storytelling, we create safe spaces where meaningful conversations can begin and healing can grow.
Our outreach efforts are led by Brittany’s mother, known as “Ninja Mama,” who shares her family’s journey with courage and heart. Through school visits, team meetings, community events, and special presentations, she helps students, athletes, families, and educators better understand mental health, grief, and emotional well-being.
Each presentation focuses on reducing stigma, encouraging open dialogue, and reminding people that asking for help is a sign of strength. By sharing real-life experiences and practical tools, our programs empower audiences to recognize warning signs, support one another, and connect with professional resources when needed.
These outreach efforts play an important role in suicide prevention and mental health awareness in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities. One conversation can inspire someone to speak up, reach out, or offer support to a friend who is struggling.
Through community outreach and mental health education, Fight Like a Ninja honors Brittany’s legacy by promoting compassion, connection, and hope. We invite you to explore our videos, view photos from past events, and learn how to bring this message to your community.
