WHAT THE TOURNAMENT IS

The Fight Like a Ninja Tournament is an annual girls hockey event held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, bringing together young female athletes for competition and camaraderie. Now in its 11th year, the tournament includes divisions for 19U, 16U, 14U, and 12U players, as well as an alumni game. This weekend not only highlights skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork but also raises awareness for mental health and supports the Fight Like a Ninja Scholarship for graduating female hockey players. Participants experience high-level hockey while celebrating the legacy of Brittany “The Ninja” Corcoran, who inspired courage, resilience, and compassion both on and off the ice.

IMPACT + GROWTH

FINANCIAL SCALE

The Fight Like a Ninja Hockey Tournament is more than a weekend of competition — it is one of the primary ways we fund our mission throughout the year. Proceeds from the tournament directly support our core programs, including the Fight Like a Ninja Scholarship, community speaking engagements in schools and teams, the Reach In Caring Companion Program, and the Seeds of Hope healing retreat. These funds also help establish and grow endowments that sustain mental health education and support services for future generations. Because of the generosity of players, families, sponsors, and volunteers, this tournament allows us to offer meaningful resources, expand outreach, and ensure that individuals and families never have to face mental health challenges alone. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps turn compassion into action and legacy into lasting impact.
