Since 2016, the Fight Like a Ninja Annual Girls Hockey Tournament has grown steadily, reflecting both the popularity of girls hockey and community support for mental health awareness. Each year, more players join, helping expand our programs and mission impact.

Locker room talks

One of the most important parts of the Fight Like A Ninja Tournament happens off the ice.

Every team will take part in a 30-minute Locker Room Talk during the weekend. It’s a chance to slow down, connect, and have a real conversation about mental health, pressure, being a good teammate, asking for help, and reminding every player that they matter far beyond the scoreboard.

This is why we say Fight Like A Ninja is more than hockey. These talks are where we Start A Conversation, build connection, and remind athletes they never have to carry hard things alone.

Each team’s talk is scheduled one hour before one of their games. Coaches, please have your players together and ready at the assigned time.
